Powerpoints & digital photographs

Powerpoints of Sioux City photographs are available for educators from the Sioux City Public Museum at a special rate and on a wide variety of subjects. The photographs and powerpoints are for educational use only. Download the Powerpoints available pdf for a list of available powerpoints, prices and details for ordering. Recipients will be required to sign a Waiver Form for Educator's Use of Powerpoints agreeing to the terms and conditions of use.

NASA Spaceflight Explorers

Spaceflight Explorers is an educational project managed by the Johnson Space Center Education Office to assist museums in conducting programs. As part of this project, the Sioux City Public Museum was provided with NASA-themed resources that highlight the historic past, successful present and bright future of human space exploration. Each kit contains a handbook (with subject overview and lesson plans) and a variety of materials to complete the hands-on lessons. Download the NASA flyer for teachers pdf for details.


Rock and Mineral Kit

Kit contains 18 mineral samples, 20 examples of igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary Rocks; 3 state rocks and 9 fossil samples, as well as guidebook with a thorough description of all contents. Free to educators and available for 1 to 2 weeks at a time. Educators must arrange for pickup/return.
