Calvary Cemetery Walking Tour
Calvary Cemetery is Sioux City’s second oldest and only Catholic cemetery that began in 1870.
Peirce Mansion Open House/Jackson Street Neighborhood Walking Tour
A special open house featuring the Victorian-era mansion at 5 p.m. followed by a 75-minute walking tour of the surrounding residential neighborhood at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend both, or either, of the free activities.
The Heights Walking Tour
Explore the hilly residential area near Grandview Park on a free 75-minute walking tour with Tom Munson, Archives Manager. The tour starts from the Grandview Park Rose Garden. Presented in conjunction with Sioux City Historic Preservation Week.
Logan Park Cemetery Walking Tour
Notable individuals who shaped local history will be featured in the free 90-minute tour led by the Sioux City Public Museum’s Tom Munson and Haley Aguirre. The tour starts from the cemetery entrance at 3901 Stone Park Boulevard.
Floyd Cemetery Walking Tour
Notable individuals who shaped Sioux City’s past will be featured in a free walking tour of Floyd Cemetery sponsored by the Sioux City Public Museum. Participants should meet at 10 a.m. at the main entrance of Floyd Cemetery, 2500 E. 7th Street.
West 7th Street Walking Tour
Presented as part of the Siouxland Asian Festival, the free hour-long tour led by Matt Anderson, Curator of History, will highlight historic buildings of the past and present. The tour starts at 11 am from the Yummi Blox Food Truck Lot, 700 W. 7th Street.
Graceland Cemetery Walking Tour
Notable individuals who shaped local history will be featured in the free 90-minute tour led by the Sioux City Public Museum’s Tom Munson and Haley Aguirre. The tour starts from the north gate of Graceland Cemetery, 2701 S. Lakeport.

Presented as part of Historic Preservation Week, the free 75-minute tour led by Tom Munson, Archives Manager, highlights one of the city’s most notorious crimes and some of the first buildings in Sioux City. The tour starts at the Sgt. Rice Memorial at Water and 5th Streets. *Rescheduled from May 17.
