History at High Noon: Latina/o History in Sioux City

  • Sioux City Public Museum 607 4th Street Sioux City, IA, 51101 United States (map)

Socorra, Dora & Rachel Bata

Presenters Dr. Stacey Alex and Dr. Wilfrido Suá rez will share several Sioux City Public Museum artifacts documenting Latina/o presence in our area. While newcomers account for much of our recent population growth, we celebrate Mexican Independence Day by recounting how Iowa has been impacted by more than 100 years of Latina/o social, economic, and cultural contributions
