Paleontologists hope dinosaur exhibit at Sioux City Public Museum will inspire next generation

A pair of Sioux City paleontologists have loved dinosaurs since they were kids, and they hope their collection of fossils will inspire the next generation to follow their dreams.

“I’ve always thought that fossil hunting is kind of like treasure hunting,” paleontologist Brian Buckmeier said. “You never really know what you’re going to find until you start digging it out of the ground.”
